+ As some of you know, Jensey and I just returned from a great, week-long trip to Alaska. It's way too late to write up a whole story, but I wanted to share this ASAP. 
So here it is...my first bad attempt at a panorama. Shot from a Cessna at 10.5k feet, flying around Mt. McKinley.
+ Edit: This is a 3-shot composite from a Canon 5D. (The final file is 6902x2699 pixels, approx 18.5 megapixels) Unfortunately, the shots weren't taken perfectly for a panorama, but the concept remains. By the way, I know my composition here is pretty bland and straightforward. The scenery seems to make up for it, though!
+ Once I have more time (and don't need to go to bed), I'll write up more, upload more, and hopefully make a print or ten available!

 -- wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man. wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man! WACKY WAVING INFLATABLE ARM FLAILING TUBE MAN!!! Great shot. Now, for the advanced critique....I agree that the composition is slightly less than i am used to from you. If i had done this shot, i would have used a slightly wider angle and shown less of the mountains and a little more sky while still remaining within the bounds of the rule of thirds. Also, a polarizer would have added more feel to the sky which is a little flat. The mountains do look amazing though.

 This really was one of my favorite, favorite parts of the trip.. It was so hard to shoot, and yet, you come away with this!
