Description
+ So tonight, I set out to get my hands dirty with CS2. It'd been a while since I put much editing work into a wedding photo. (The last best example would probably be Teresa & Josh.) Our wedding photos see a fair amount of tweaking and artistic work (thanks to Jensey), but rarely do we get to spend a lot of time on any one image.
+ With all this said, I'm probably building this up wayyy too much. But it was fun and I'm happy with the end result, so shutup. This, by the way, is the beautiful Cassie from our most recent wedding. (Be sure to see Jensey's!)
+ Editing : Where to begin. Cropped in to get rid of distracting bottom element. Vignette around bride to enhance attention. Burned the bouquette and dress a bit. Duplicated the main layer and applied Lens Blur on it. Then masked the whole layer so I could "paint through" and reveal sharpness where I thought it'd look best. (Mostly on the flowers and face.) Applied an x-process action, includes two curves adjustment (one for brightness boost and another for the color) and a layer set to 40% overlay to boost contrast. *whew* I think that's it. (Oh, and none of that was in order.)
+ And here's the original if you'd like to see the comparison.
+ Enjoy!
