When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

+ Just another from Thayne & Erika's "first look" on the morning of their wedding. It was sooo great to spend an hour with them before the ceremony; so relaxing and it gives photo-time the proper respect it deserves.
+ This is Erika (obviously) in the middle of our wonderful, photo-friendly field. We had just finished several photos of them together, so we told Thayne to take a hike and asked her to do a little posing. It really didn't take much, and that's what I love about photography like this; you get the location, a pretty bride, and just work around them. Give them a little direction, but if you anticipate the right moments and frame everything right, the photo looks classic. At least I think so. + Enjoy! + Root Photography Blog Comments
You will certainly be one of the best wedding photographers of our time. This is your begining.. but you are a master. You have the master's touch...one that comes from within..the soul..the wellspring of life..add some experience, large portfolio..and I can say "I knew him when"...
-- shell Community Projects Gallery Director E-mail: shell4art@deviantart.com Wow. Gorgeous development. I love her dress too!!! The field, the bright and soft colors, it's so soothing and really classy. The focus is also spot on. Really excellent composition as well. Balanced and such. That bracelet looks like it's about to slide right off! I hope she didn't lose it. You've really given this photograph life and when I get married, you're hired. If I don't, I'll marry myself, and you're hired.

I love this - her pose is the classic over shoulder shot, but it gives the viewer the feeling that her looking back is looking into the past and remembering what she is leaving behind - wistful and joyous whilst at the same time being a little sad... I love it Nate. Fantastic job! -- Please check out my new website! [link] |
