Mayra and Jay : Engagement 1

+ What a crazy season this has been! Jensey and I have never been more busy or more satisfied with our work. We have so much to show and I'm sorry we've been so slow at it. But hopefully that'll change in the coming weeks. For now, enjoy this photo from one of our favorite engagement sessions.

+ Over the last few months, I've really tried to get in closer during our sessions. It's so easy to shoot from far away with a 200mm lens*...it takes a bit more effort to get in close with a couple. Not only do you have to shoot a bit differently, but you have to make sure they're comfortable with you in such close quarters. (I'm hoping to get a new 24mm 2.8 or 1.4 just for this purpose!)

* Okay, so this image was actually shot at 125mm and so I wasn't tooo close. But my point remains! Cropping tight or moving in close is something we're going to keep improving upon.
