The frame from the plants' silhouette are absolutely wonderful! IMO, juz wad the picture needed.
It compliments the picture and made it look even more peaceful, romantic, everlasting..
Love it. ^.^
What do you think of the new nikon d80 for wedding? i have to play with one for a while, and im just looking for any pointers i can get. I know the lens is awesome, suppose to be like the one for d200. I might have to be in a wedding soon, not as a job, just gonna take my big thing to see what i can do. I stay out of the hired pro's way though.
I can't really speak for the D80 since I've never used it, but for starting out, I'm sure it'd do the job nicely. For most people, especially those doing wedding photography as a hobby, the D70/80 and Canon Rebel cameras work well enough. Image quality is fine and performance/speed is usually good enough. However, as your skills grow, so does your need for a camera that can function as quickly as you can. And that, in my opinion, is where the likes of the 30D or D200 come in. The interfaces (and general camera performance) are much greater and can better serve the need of a pro. Don't get me wrong, having quality glass is key, but having a camera that can work well under the demands of wedding photography is very important in many ways.
I'm sure my answer went far beyond what was useful to say.
My only dilemma so far has been silhouttes. What exactly to do with them. How can i correctly expose for the sky and the person at the same time. Is it possibly? I've read some people admit to not being able to get both, either or, but is there a way? is the best way to do it, using a flash as fill light?
I'll surely let you know how the upcoming wedding goes. I have to make due with being half equipped status, but i'll do my best. Im still saving up for the rest of the equipment, but my friend unfortunately really can't afford the pros end, trust me i tried talking her into it heavily, but she insisted I do it. I thinks its because i shot one wedding with a P&S, photoshopped until my eyes bled and she really liked the results in the end. Anyway, wish me luck!
Yes, sorry. Like i said, i can certainly talk about photography forever. But if you have some spare time to answer, its highly appreciated.
And I completely agree about the wedding album finish. I'm looking forward to putting that together.
